Event Opening
Minister for Sustainability and the Environment, Ms Grace Fu, declared the opening of the National Environment Agency (NEA)’s biennial CleanEnviro Summit Singapore (CESG) and PUB, Singapore's National Water Agency’s Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) at Marina Bay Sands today.
Aside from high-level plenaries, conferences, and an exhibition of cutting-edge environmental solutions, the #CESG2024 programme highlights include the official opening of the Enviro Tech Innovation Hub, CESG Industry Night, and Youth Environment Leaders Immersion Programme. The new tranche of Productivity Solutions Grant for the #EnvironmentalServices industry will also be announced during #CESG, as well as the winners of the Workforce Transformation Awards and NEA-Industry Scholarship Awards. CESG-SIWW Joint Opening Ministerial Plenary
The 2024 CESG-SIWW Joint Opening Ministerial Plenary assembled an illustrious line-up of panellists, who shared their insights on the implementation of decarbonisation and sustainability policies in their home states and industries post-COP28.
Environment Expo’s LaunchPad
Senior Minister of State for Sustainability and the Environment, Dr Amy Khor, welcomed guests to the Environment Expo’s LaunchPad, a platform for startups and Institute of Higher Learnings to foster potential collaborative opportunities and business growth. Following her speech, project teams pitched their innovations on the dedicated pitching stage.
Launch of Enviro Tech Innovation Hub
Dr Khor also officially launched the Enviro Tech Innovation Hub, led by the Environmental Management Association of Singapore and Temasek Polytechnic. It is one of the initiatives aimed at developing and test-bedding innovative and sustainable solutions for the cleaning sector through partnerships.
