As CEO, Edy is responsible for setting the business direction of the group and leading the management team to implement various business growth strategies. Besides ensuring the continued growth of CTM, he also places great emphasis on the development of all employees. He believes that the sustainability of the business is very much dependent on the strength of our people and providing quality service to our customers.
On top of being the motivating force for employees, Edy is also the “Chief Customer Officer” of CTM. He is constantly engaging our key customers to better understand their concerns, while gathering feedback to improve and enhance our service delivery process and offerings. Edy believes in establishing a win-win relationship with our stakeholders through service excellence, quality, and constant improvements. With his efforts and contributions to the environmental industry, Edy was conferred the Public Service Medal in 2018.
Edy graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Property Management from University of Salford, UK. He is also actively involved in grassroot activities and holds the current appointment of Vice-Chairman of the Citizens’ Consultative Committee for Toa Payoh West-Thomson. Besides being Vice-President of the Environmental Management Association of Singapore and a member of the Singapore Hokkien Huay Kuan, Edy is a committee member for both the Cleaning Sectoral Tripartite Committee and Proactive Environmental Cleaning Regime Committee, set-up by the National Environment Agency. He is also appointed as a Council Member in the Public Hygiene Council set up by the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment.
